I posted this at THT and thought I might get a better response here. I've never owned a boat with trim tabs. I now own a '97 25 DVSC powered by a Volvo AD41 diesel. Previous owner said he did not use the tabs - just run the outdrive trim in the #3 position. Is there a science or at least a correct way to fine tune your ride besides haphazard experimentation?
