CECUTLER,

A 2120 fitted out as you describe, with trailer, would be in the
neighborhood of $44-45k
here in Virginia. I'm sure there is a hefty fee to get one shipped all the
way out to SoCal,
and there may be more options that are included that you are not
describing. Perhaps it
would profit you to wait until your transfer comes through and buy one here
in VA. I
bought mine a year ago and it ran $42k with F150, raw water wash, rocket
launchers,
windlass and pulpit, and one spreader light.

The 2120 is a fun boat, and is very seaworthy. I've had a blast running
this winter in
search of striper. All my passengers have arrived expecting to go through
the typical
freezing ordeal, only to find a heated cabin and a pleasant fishing
experience. It
virtually rivals any experience I've had on charter boats out of NC ...
Except it's been more
fun!

The 2120 is a small boat. I am under no illusion as to its capabilities
and you should
understand this before you get too far with your purchase. Going out in
Chesapeake Bay
chop greater than 3+ feet is going to be slightly painful and somewhat
dangerous.
Knowing when to stay home is sometimes an important life skill! However, I
don't know of
a drier, more seaworthy 21 footer that has this much protection and room to
fish.

Most people around these parts order the boat with an F200 motor and
consider the F150
underpowered. I have the F150 and am content. Top speed is around 35 mph
with the
150. It does behave a bit sluggish during hole shot though. A 30+ gal.
livewell is the
equivalent of one more person; add a cooler full of ice and a full gas tank
and it will begin
to affect performance. Be sure to sea trial and get the fully loaded rpm's
dialed in with the
correct prop. You will want 5800 rpm WOT.

Feel free to mail me, I love to talk about my boat,
Ranger Tim
