I made up a "quick release" bracket that mounts on the pulpit rail in seconds. If I think I'm going to need it, I can mount the bracket and the light simply snaps in/out of its base. Of course I get ZERO glare with it mounted way up front and where it has a remote ... it works slick. I usually always have my radar on and have a handheld spotlight in the cabin for quick/emergency access. I find I rarely use the spotlight but it works great up on the pulpit when needed. The mount goes across the top of the pulpit rail and the spotlight gets suspended below the base ... that way it's not in my vision when running and the light is off. | ||||
