both the 2120 & the 2320 are great boats...but you can only get the full transom in the 23, which I think Parker should do away with all the cut transoms...JMO as far as a walkaround...I do not want to deal with any canvas, zippers, or isenglass, ever again....pilothouses all the way.... ----- Original Message ----- From: A_Grose To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, June 15, 2005 2:24 PM Subject: [parkerboats] Re: Parker 21 or 23 Pilothouse Thanks Guys, Here's my deal. I'm located in Southern California. Spend about 100 days a year on the water. I was thinking about just getting another center console, but then came across the Parker 2120 pilothouse. Like it a bunch. But then, as usual, I liked the 23 even more...and it only gets worse from there! (lol) Anyway, I've got the big boat stuff covered...I run a charter boat too. I just want something that is simple to fish and maintain without being a monster to trailer around. I want to be able trailer to Mexico, have weather protection, and have the option of spending the night at the islands. I think the 2120 fits that role...any other thoughts? Do they make it with a full transom? I also like the Kencraft 2200 WA. Thanks again. ~aaron --- In [email protected], j p <jpayne134@y...> wrote: > full transom is the way to go. Feels (and looks) like a much larger hull and the added security of the solid transom in a following sea in an inlet is a plus. Also the fish wells (4) are very convenient for things other than fish as the storage on the boat is limited. The second station is trick and I use it constantly. The 2320 is a good compromise between the 21 and 25. Doing an offshore trip in Montauk next two weeks and will report how it does in some tall water. > > lazymedic > > > > rose <a_grose@y...> wrote: > Hey Guys, > > Found the site through the Hull Truth. > > Those of you who own Parker 21 Pilothouses...are you still happy with > your boat or do you wish you would of gone up to the 23?
