Some of you may have seen these pictures on other threads. I decided to start a new thread to show the project from start to finish. This is a Wabasto 9000 BTU with Air conditioner, Dehumidifier, Heater and Fan. It runs on Shore Power connection or a 2000 watt Honda generator.

I first had to install the 120v 30amp Shore Power Connection.

Once the shore power was installed, we started to mount the water pump (Cal 580) and strainer, both are below the water line.

After, all the fittings were in we connected everything to the unit, which was placed inside the STBD. side seat behind the Helm seat or STBD side rear seat. Duct work was done and installed as well.

In order to get the cool air to the highest point possible, we had to custom make the air duct and open up the top of the STBD side rear seat. We also put in the unit control, placed right above the shore power panel.

Well, I finally tested the unit it seems to work fine. The 2000 watt gen is powering the unit with no problem. It got down to 61F inside the pilot house and the outside temp was about 80F. The only thing I don't like, is that the air even on the low setting is still blowing pretty hard. I will be doing the really test in the summer.

I installed mine in the 2520 XL rotated the unit 90' to the left as pictured so I could build a seaboard shelf over it, installed the Webasto fcf5000 + intall kit, supply grill "in" the companion seat behind helm toward starboard, moved batts forward and made more room in the rear well for pump etc., no elec. panel needed or shore power inlet as unit is self protected via fuse. 110v cord to 30 dock adapter and walla! Neat, clean, and kicks but in the cabins!
