Well I would have been in the water by now under normal circumstances but with the horrible weather I am about a week away from splashdown. The only things left to install are the radar, which is now on hold till I get a wedge from BOE, the vhf antenna and a pair of rodholders. Hopefully they will be able to paint the bottom later this week when we are supposed to hit close to 60 degrees.
I will post plenty of pictures of the install, but waiting for everything to be completed and cleaned up before I start. The pump for the autopilot he was able to install in back of the starboard side seat. He also made up a couple of cleats out of starboard so that the pump will be raised one inch off the deck. He also made a pair of wedges for the outrigger bases which were installed this morning.
Last night I registered all the electronics with Garmin and then proceeded to do a 2 hour update download for my 1040xs. I will perform the long update before installing all my waypoints etc.
The anticipation is killing me..............I got a little light in the loafers today when I saw the outrigger bases, it made me think of killing tuna in about 2 more months!
Here is a teaser of the transducer hole

I am going there Wed am to put name on the boat, will take a shot for you. He used a wedge and installed them just ahead of the "Tee" on each side. If the eye strap is installed I will rig the poles. The Rupp bases seem like a good quality base. They are closed Monday and Tuesday so I expect to splash next Wed am )

Let us know how it goes. My boat has not made it out of the factory yet. I am hoping by the beginning of May I will hit the water. The waiting game is always difficult after a long winter.

Boat is ready to go! All I need now is a weather window. Dealer is closed on Mon & Tue so any good day after that it will happen. I am going to do my engine break in by making my way back in the bay to see if any stripers are hungry

Happy Easter to everyone here at Classic Parker!

John - Congrats! She looks great. I hope you enjoy every minute of use. Stop teasing, we want full pictures!

Got splashed today. Loading boat in the am first fishing trip Sunday morning. Bass to follow.

How does the boat run with the 300 on the back. I am going to splash my new 2510XLD in the next 3 weeks and I am wondering how the single 300 will push the boat compared to the twin 150's and twin 200's. The boat looked a lot bigger then I remembered when it showed up at the dealer.

Yesterday I pushed up the throttle to 5000 and was doing 42 mph with a full tank of fuel and another person onboard. Seems you need to be around 3500 to plane then she boogies  I think you have plenty of ponies to play with.
