Yes, I agree if while on plane the front helm is highest then it should be vented. Why not just put vented caps on both?

I have that same problem with just one helm in my 2005 parker! I don't see how having 2 helms if installed correctly would cause this problem. I continually have issues with air in my system, I eventually found a leak in one of my lines and will be replacing this winter.

FYI, Lowrance units network with Simrad. Not a lot of people know this and Lowrance units can be found cheaper than Simrad. The only issue is that you can't control a Simrad NAC-3 autopilot with a networked Lowrance unit.

I installed an airmar M285HW in hull transducer in my 2310. Works great and I didn't have to put a hole in my boat to install it! It's a 1kw transducer, high wide, chirp. $600 I think. I have a separate temperature sensor that was already installed on the boat so the decision was easy for me.

Looking to upgrade the tiny factory chairs in my Parker 2310 to the parker deluxe helm chair... anyone try that? Need to see if it fits... Thanks

Both 4200 and 5200 have ripped gel coat off when I needed to remove, so pick your poison 🤪. I've started using life caulk or lifeseal after getting sick of doing gel coat repairs. Seems like caulk would be a good choice for your project too since you may be removing it AGAIN next winter hahhaha
