I checked mine today, my boat is a 2006, it looks like it is brand new, mine is behind an access plate , maybe i will coat with one of those sprays that I use for other wiring, but mine looks great, so i am not going to mess with it yet :)

anybody ever though of a way to seal the anchor locker and make a drain hole overboard, could it be done and would it be a bad idea, every time the anchor is used and retrieved, all that salt water from the chain and rope goes into the buildge of the boat, then splashes all over the wiring in...

We could make it, but we would probably need to meet someone at the ramp as we would have no idea where to go, we only launch out of MDR, but if someone would give us the gps #, we could motor down ! But sounds fun for the everyone, can we bring the mini fisherman ( kids) ?

I have twin 2006 , 150s, have not had any issues at all, I do the services and they run flawless, I did have an issue with one motor, but all it turned out to be was the ground connection was arcing and once removed, cleaned up and re tightened, worked perfect ! My warranty's just ended, so...

See the post in this section about new switches, this is what I did with only 2 batterys, took out 3, works perfect, like Dale said, you just have to work out a system for switching the batterys ! Craig

Check this site out, depending on your motor set up, change the bat switch and add the battery and wire correctly, and you are good to go, one for each motor and one for house, or what ever motor set up you have, search for battery, you will find all the info and many different ways, but i can...

This is what I did so in the middle of the night we no longer heard a thump :) and the thump was my son rolling onto the pilot house floor, needless to say he was not laughing :)
