Do a search for "I Fly" rod holders. I bought a couple of the "singles" and made my own mounting bracket out of some starboard and a section of PVC to hold a boga grip. This was 15+ years ago, and they still look/work great. -- Tom

Here is another option.. generic 4 row bungy racks. The one on the starboard side (no interference from fuel fill channel) has been modified with a "T" shaped piece of white starboard to extend the mounting point aft to get a bit more clearance in the bow and prevent rod tips from bouncing...

I can't give you an exact answer, as it will also depend on your pickup tube setup, but I can tell you the most I have ever added mid-season was 88 gallons. No way to tell how much more/longer I could have gone, but I didn't really want to find out :) -- Tom

Not sure what Ox66 actual fuel burn rate was, but to go along with other performance numbers I referenced above, it burns about 7 gallons per hour at 4k. Tough to do an apples-to-apples comparison of actual use - I do keep track of gallons per engine hour, but find I am much more likely to keep...

Sorry for delayed response. I have had no issues with engine and have been able to do all oil changes (engine and lower unit), spark plugs, water pump, etc. maintenance myself. Just off the top of my head, I cruise around 22 knots at 4k RPM. Max speed is around 40mph. -- Tom

I swapped out a Yamaha 0x66 200HP for the 4 cylinder Suzuki 200 and am very happy with it so far - have a little over 500 hours on it. I opted for the 4 cylinder Suzuki as it was closer in weight to my older Yamaha. Performance is great, I have it on a 2100. -- Tom

When I repowered last year, I remember reading about how the Yamaha inline4 200HP engine computer would reduce power if it detected 87 octane to prevent problems w/ detonation, etc. I'm assuming using 87 won't cause any damage, but will just reduce performance/MPG. -- Tom

I just used some stainless nuts / bolts and sealed with silicone like I would any other deck fitting.

For what its worth, I've been using 2 micron Racor filters since they came out and haven't had a problem with my 200HP 2-stroke Yamaha. Since switching over the VST filter has been noticeably cleaner and now I am at the point where I have switched to checking it every other year. -- Tom

Got to say that I have been using a stainless spinner knob on my 2100 for the last 12 or so seasons and it has been great. Haven't needed to adjust it or anything since I first put it on. Might be worth a try before sinking big bucks into a new wheel. -- Tom

Above the prop on the outboard is the rudder zinc, which can be adjusted left/right to compensate for prop torque. If it is adjusted too far one way or the other, it will cause your boat to pull in that direction, which might be the cause of the lean you are seeing. -- Tom
