    2520 with 500 HP

Hey Mark! Thanks for posting! You may or may not remember but we’ve met a couple times in Westport. I was the guy that had the trailer split a cross brace back in 2017 😫😂 I was asking because I have read that twin 200s are minimum power for that hull. But I’m going with what you just told me...

    2520 with 500 HP

That’s kind of what I thought the dealer would say. But the Parker website clearly says 500 HP is the max for the hull. 🤷‍♂️ oh well.

I saw that boat online and it looked bad to the bone.

    2520 with 500 HP

No offense but you're not really helping my thread here 😜 And you’re telling me things I already know.😁 Maybe just chill out a little. I get it you’re just trying to help. But you’re not.

    2520 with 500 HP

I’m not following you here. You just said they quoted you a hull with twin 300s? The MAX HP is 500 for the 2520. That would make your quote 100 HP over max. So if you have a build sheet from the factory for twin 300s I’d like to see that. Because you just contradicted yourself. I feel like...

    2520 with 500 HP

We’re these 25s or 28s? If they were 25s did they come from the factory powered with twin 250/300? Really what I’m asking is will the factory rig a 2520 with max 500HP.

    2520 with 500 HP

I’m planning a upgrade in the next 2 years. The parker website says the max HP for a 2520 is 500. I’ve saw first hand a older 2520 in San Diego with twin 250s. Online I saw a 2520 with twin 300s. This boat was highly custom. The 2520 is only 800 pounds less then the 2820, but it’s basicly...

    Wet foam

I just found a cheep, yet small fan at a drug store. It draws the air through the bilge nicely.

    Wet foam

I put a tiny fan in the aft bilge where the batteries are. Let it move the air through there. It’ll dry out. I place the fan so the air is blowing out of the bilge. The air is not blowing into the bilge.

    2320 sport cabin

Probably depends on the bracket. On the newer bracket boats the HP rating is stamped under the motor plate.

    Suspension seat

Assuming yours are installed like my 2016 2320. You shouldn’t have any issues. Very easy job. They were bolted through the deck, no backing nut.

    Full fish around pilot house

All good points points. And I agree it’s all a trade off. The only way a fish around like this is worth it is with a big beam boat, probably 9’6” and bigger. The BAMF I rode on had a well laid out interior. And yes you’ll be waxing a lot! 😜

They do look a like. But I thought I remember hearing they were different companies. Maybe a disgruntled employee took the design 😂

    Impeller change interval

Assuming you store your boat through the winter. I would change it in 1 year before the beginning of the 2024 boating/fishing season.

    Full fish around pilot house

I’ve been pondering what my next boat will be. Because I live in the North West my go-to is always a pilot house boat. However, back in 2019 I got to fish on a BAMF 30’ fish around. It’s a beautiful thing to fish on this style of boat. 8 guys could easily spread out and fish comfortably. Way...

    Generations of Parkers-The Tradition Continues.

@DanLovingood 27 years is quite a long time to be in the Parker family. Thanks for your post. Like you. One of the things that attracted me to Parker was the no-nonsense construction. The Hull completely cures then the stringers are glasses to the hull. The hull and stringers cures again...

    Generations of Parkers-The Tradition Continues.

Having been in the Parker family since 2016. I feel like I’ve learned a few things about the company, boats, the Parker family and the new management. Even the workers and engineers. I’ve been very impressed with the fiberglass work, and the strength of the boat. While there is no such thing as...
