What’s changed since correct craft bought Parker?

    I think the Steiger Craft 26’ is now 28’. Heck maybe I’ll sell my 23 as a 25 😂😭

    2520 ENGINE OPTIONS

What ever the cause or multiple causes. Be safe and don’t **** up on the water. It’s unforgiving. Multiple little problems can create one big one.

I’m sure the Out on the reef guy is a nice guy, and probably a cool dude to fish with. But the whole generator strapped down on the gunnel just seems kind off to me. Hey maybe 20 years time he never has a problem. And that’s cool too. But an intelligent discussion should discuss potential...

AP is your auto pilot. So nice on a long run. I don’t do the overnight thing. I guess you could add more batteries or shore power. But that’s a little out of my experience or current knowledge base.

I think the 23 is an excellent boat. It has many great points. Mine is rigged with many extras, including a 50 gallon bait tank, 15 rocket launchers on the hard top, full set of Garmin Electronics including the reactor AP and V2 pump…I really like the AP 😀. Seaspension seats, and all kind of...

Fishing offshore in a smaller boat I’ve learned to appreciate running a boat with max horse power. While it’s true you don’t if ever run wide open throttle. There are other points to consider. When it’s rough and the wind starts to blow hard. You’ll appreciate being able to work the throttle...

    2520 ENGINE OPTIONS

While my boat is a 2320 with Yamaha 300 and not a 25’. I would like to add some thoughts to the topic. With the size of bait tank you plan on installing that will be 600 pounds of seawater when full. Also, your drinks, gear, and what ever else you bring about it starts adding up fast. Not...

    Sad day

It is a sad day. Motor might be a wild card. But that Parker will recover I’m sure of that.

Damn. I feel your pain. No excuse not to recomp some of your money. But I agree…why return it just so they can screw up more stuff.

    Modifying 1999 21SE live well to a bait well…suggestions?

From what I’ve heard or been told about East vs West coast bait. The baits on the east coast are typically larger baits where on the west coast we use smaller baits by the 1000s. I believe in San Diego it’s a primary sardine and anchovy bait fishery. In the northwest we use anchovies. I’ve...

    Modifying 1999 21SE live well to a bait well…suggestions?

I believe the pic above is a Big Salt brand tank. This is why we use bait tanks on the west coast. Pic is from Oct 5 out of Westport WA, we caught 37 albacore tuna, nearly all were caught on live bait.

    Modifying 1999 21SE live well to a bait well…suggestions?

This is a west coast Bait Tank. My bait tank will hold 2 big scoops of healthy anchovies all day with minimal dead loss. I’m sure there are exceptions but East coast live well’s typically don’t hold west coast bait. I have seen this with my own eyes. Fished San Diego on a Grady White...

    The future of boating

From time to time, I ponder on what the future holds for boating or offshore fishing. With fuel prices outrageously high and reportedly going to get worse. Boats are still fetching a premium price. Lots of buyers have reported long waiting times for boats and builders are claiming supply chain...

    EPIRB mounting

I always brief my new crew members on the ditch bag, eprib and how to initiate it, how to stop the auto pilot, VHF operations.

I keep my eprib in my ditch bag.

New to Classic Parker with a 2320

Congrats and very nice. I like that tower, but haven’t seen one that folds down forward like that yet.

    Wax applicator

I typically put 2 coats on in the late spring time. Fall when I’m putting it away for the year, 1 coat.

    Wax applicator

Probably a dumb question to some of you. I use a dewalt soft start 7”/9” buffer. Which pad would you recommend for applying wax with my dewalt? I’ve been using the 3m wax and applying the wax by hand with an applicator.
