Off to find a welder to fix this crack on my bracket. Cracks goes right up the middle of the weld. What are these brackets made of? Alum?

Great points! I’m convincing myself, with the help of my friends on this site that Edson is the only choice. I’ve only used the knobs that were integrated into the wheel rim and agree, that’s the way to go.

Thoughts on wheels? For the same price would you: 1) buy a used Edson w/power knob 2) buy a new lewmar with knob 3) just buy a knob and add to existing Parker wheel

My 2008 F250 still going strong at 1300 hours. Engine just purrs. Only issue is a clogged water cooling line so I can’t flush the motor via hose. Water pump cooling is fine. Virtually infix’s or ad you need to remove cyl heads to access the 90 degree nipple to address the clog. Not worth...

Super easy. I disconnected water supply from the PORT side of the unit through the port hole. Unscrewed all of the deck screws, then gave it a gentle 'hip check' done. Glad I did this as the drain hose was barely connected to the bottom of the bait well! There was silicone caulking around...
