Used Edson or new Lewmar wheel?

    Looks great! Thanks for sharing.

Used Edson or new Lewmar wheel?

Great points! I’m convincing myself, with the help of my friends on this site that Edson is the only choice. I’ve only used the knobs that were integrated into the wheel rim and agree, that’s the way to go.

Used Edson or new Lewmar wheel?

Thoughts on wheels? For the same price would you: 1) buy a used Edson w/power knob 2) buy a new lewmar with knob 3) just buy a knob and add to existing Parker wheel

    Parts For Sale Permatrim

Selling my 1 year old Permatrim. It was installed on my Yamaha F250 - Parker 2300 DV. This unit changed my boat! Prior to install the boat dragged its rear end and had a hard time getting on plane. After install, boat snaps on plane and handles really well. Only issue, frequent bolt...

What did you pay for your Parker boat and when?

98 2300DV. Bought 2021 $26,500 in Halifax Canada. Guy bought the boat to flip and did well. Had bought the boat from original owner in Morehead City for $11k!

    Getting bow down on 2300

Tx! Yah the plan is to put them under the front seat- the bench in front of the ctr console. Vs the helm seat.

    Getting bow down on 2300

@Cman60 and others. I’m jumping in and moving the batteries from stern to under console seat. Can you tell me if you were able to run the cable chase staging from the stern to now on top of gas tank? Or did you make the turn and go around the gas tank toward the side of the boat? I’m...

    Yamaha 250 advice

My 2008 F250 still going strong at 1300 hours. Engine just purrs. Only issue is a clogged water cooling line so I can’t flush the motor via hose. Water pump cooling is fine. Virtually infix’s or ad you need to remove cyl heads to access the 90 degree nipple to address the clog. Not worth...

    99 2300 - Removing Leaning Post Question

Super easy. I disconnected water supply from the PORT side of the unit through the port hole. Unscrewed all of the deck screws, then gave it a gentle 'hip check' done. Glad I did this as the drain hose was barely connected to the bottom of the bait well! There was silicone caulking around...

    99 2300 - Removing Leaning Post Question

What are your plans? I’m going to sandblast then paint the alum. I think I can live with the cushions for awhile.

    99 2300 - Removing Leaning Post Question

Well. Curiosity and a nap got me thinking, I’ll just remove the whole dam bait well and look under it for the nuts. Yup, there they are. Pic attached. Check out the underside of the leaning post pedestals. They have a date of 1997 and say SC however my boat is a DV. I guess original...

    99 2300 - Removing Leaning Post Question

I'll try to take a pic tomr in the daylight. I suppose its possible the nuts are embedded. I was able to remove one of the fwd. screws which is a machine screw, vs. wood screw, so I know there is a nut in there somewhere! I need to remove the leaning post as I'm going to sandblast then paint...
