    Parker 23 DVCC w/ bracket

Thanks. 35 foot is longer then I had suspected. The pulpit is sort of a non issue on the trailer since it can be over the tongue but very good point on the short tongue, 2wd truck here. A long tongue is very nice for those shallow ramps. I may have to see what I can find storage wise. Thanks again!

    Parker 23 DVCC w/ bracket

should it fit in a 30' storage unit? I am thinking it will be close... Anybody know or care to guess? Doing the do diligence before I take the plunge and it appears anything over 30' is not that available around here.

Finally did it. I'm a Parker owner.

Sweet! Good for you! Where do you plan to use it? Fishing?

    Coping wth rough seas

Just when I think I would be happy with the economy of a mod-vee model I read one of these threads lol

    2300 se engine recommendations

That is a little surprising but I guess the F150 does okay on the heavier, deeper-vee 2120. It should be fine on a 23SE.

    2501 Parker w T/200HPDI's

Very nice boat, exactly what I WILL be looking for. Not to your benefit but I hope it is still for sale in about 18 months when I am ready to take the plunge. I guess you have been dabbling with selling it for quite a while now, no? I have seen it posted on the net in a couple places. Good...

    Motor thoughts for a 2520

I am very curious to see if parker will start rolling out 25' DVs with the new 300hp V6. Should do at least as well as twin F150s considering the weight savings. Not sure how they're priced yet but that should drop 8-10K off a new twin F150 set up if the pricing is similar to the current...

    Running on one of twins...

That is awesome. Your hpdi's must be putting out the low end torque!

Who has a diesel tow vehicle and wishes it were gas?

Exactly, the tow vehicle over-all is more important then deciding between gas vs diesel. I wouldn't lose any sleep with any late model engine combination just as long as the vehicle is rated to handle your boat.

    How accurate is NADA pricing

I take it the boat has been sitting out in the Florida rain and sunshine for 5 years and he wants almost what he paid for it? Sad.

23 foot Mako gets complete overhaul...slides and video

Thanks for the link, very cool. We had the just about the same boat when I was a teenager, gold floor and all. I think ours was an 81 model. Good solid, dry boats no doubt.

Who has a diesel tow vehicle and wishes it were gas?

I have seen on more then one occasion here in DFW triple axel boats pulled with Tahoes and other like trucks. The trick is they only have to go a few miles to the boat ramp. No long highway trips so horsepower isn't a big concern. Good trailer brakes save on the wear tear as well. When I was...

    Yami 300hp

Hi All! There is a rumor going around that Yamaha will soon be releasing a V6 300HP 4-stroke. Possibly confirmed by some? Any thoughts on a single 300hp being plenty for a 25 DV? I am possibly interested in the CC DV one of these days but if it is enough for a SCDV or WADV it will surely be...

    2520 dvsc notched transom

Is the notched transom a custom option parker will do currently on the 25's or was it just back in 2005?

Hey Doug, Great info on the Parker dealer in Houston. Any complaints working out your deal with them?

Sea Lion Trailer Issue with 2120 SC

Is it just a matter of backing the trailer a little further down the ramp to keep the back of the trailer deeper?

    23 DVCC ride

lol That happens, not a super busy forum anyway. Thanks for the CC info BTW! The aquasport was the worst in a following sea. When riding up the back of the wave the water seemed to stick to the bow and peel up and into the boat. Not good in those type conditions.

    23 DVCC ride

Saying a hull isn't the smoothest riding is one thing but to say it is extremely wet has me a little dissapointed. I have fished out of "wet" boats (Aquasport 200 Osprey for one) in the Gulf of Mexico and it is not fun. It can turn an okay fishing trip into a nightmare if you ask me. Does...

    23 DVCC ride

Is it safe to say the 23DVCC rides considerably better then the 25MVCC? I think it is actually called the 2500 Special Edition, 16 degrees dead-rise.

Choosing between the 2320 and the 2520

Mark, we have always gone the "one big w/ kicker" route but I tend to agree with you. I have fished boats with twins and you can't beat the ability to troll off one medium and shut down the other. Granted trolling is a way of life for us, pretty much all we do. Beats trolling with a kicker hands...
