    Wet foam

Take the time to epoxy your exposed wood in the cored out hole when you replace the hatch. I used a liberal amount of 4200 during my install as well

    Wet foam

I bought a couple Tempress 4” replacement O rings that were recommended but they were a little big. Tried another brand, little bit thicker, but it also didn’t fit. I ended up stretching the Tempress O rings around the entire outer lip of the plate instead of in the groove where it was meant to...

    Wet foam

I remember your post. Did you have your inspection plate off when your bilge competent filled with water and spilled onto your deck or was the O ring gasket bad on the pie plate? As far as wet foam, I likely have some as well from a bad O ring. To my knowledge a little water on the foam should...

    Sports Cabin Ceiling Height?

Very much agree as to the aesthetics of the boat. I also like the strength and safety of design. A glassed in pilot house versus a bolted on house at deck level, which can make the boat top heavy and prone to tip in and out of the trough

    Full fish around pilot house

I thought I read somewhere that the BAMF hulls were the same molds as ospreys? Love the fish around design

    Kicker motor questions

Haha no I’m not burning oil but my f250 didn’t like trolling at salmon speeds all day. Had to open it up or it would shutter after many hours

    Kicker motor questions

Haven’t had an issue but it would be a good idea to put a prop saver on the kicker to prevent line entanglements. The biggest thing with a kicker on 21-26’ boat, let’s say, is the gearing and ability to turn a bigger prop which the Yamaha 9.9 gives with you with the high thrust model. I’m in the...

    Kicker motor questions

The 25 is a reasonable option as it only weighs about 30 pounds more and you get EFI. However it will cost you like $1300 more not including rigging. A 9.9 and a 25 will net roughly the Sam speed at WOT which will be about 6 to 7 knots. Neither can get you on plane obviously so they are just...

Value of a 2005 parker 2520 open back

The power would concern me a little. That’s really low hours for a 2005 yamaha 250 and it’s also a 3.3L which is known to have exhaust corrosion issues. It may have been well maintained but a lot of times when motors sit they aren’t getting routine maintenance. Who knows though maybe it was...

    Amazing, 2022 2830 XLD. $310,000.00

True, kind of looks like a 2320 opening to the v-berth minus the head built into the drivers helm station. Looks like maybe that long bench can be made into several configurations? The aesthetics are off though for the pilot house to me from the outside. Looks like a much longer cabin than it is...

I wish they kept the rear cabin window the same but I like the interior layout

    Finished pilothouse seat

That’s cool I’ve never seen that type of seat in a boat. Seen something similar with office chairs

    Oops 😬…..

08 2320 your good in regard to foam. If you have the pry inspection pie plates I would check the seals on those. The one closest to your bilge is typically the culprit for wet foam and fuel tank corrosion. I am in the process of changing mine to the Tempress screw version

    Oops 😬…..

What Parker do you have? My 2320 has a coffin style compartment with no access to the bilge and is completely foam filled and self contained. So in my case if my fuel line inspection port was leaking it would be a big issue but if water just got in my bilge it couldn’t get to foam. Is there a...

Install Kicker motor 2320SL Armstrong bracket

A Yamaha 40hp is more than twice the weight of a T9.9. The point is you get the torque you need to get to displacement speeds, 6-7 knots with a T9.9. To push past that barrier you’ll need more than a 40hp. I see it’s free so do what you want. As far as the bracket you can find it on Cecil...
