    Looking for 1801 in NC

Well yeah. But it's like working in Washington DC. I've always said that there's not enough money to make me move to DC. Or at least, no one is going to pay me anywhere close to enough.... I love my boat. If it burned up tonight I'd buy another one just like it. Only it would take 6 months plus...

The 1801... the right fit for me?

i'm a marine surveyor and have known Gib Chapman for 20 years plus. He's a true Southern gentlemen. If he says it you can believe it. I would not hesitate to buy a boat he has listed.

    Bellow outdrive question about maintenance

I recommend you change the bellows. They do have a finite life. You aren't REALLY sure how old they are, so be safe. If it cracks it will probably sink the boat. Pay me now or pay me later....

The 1801... the right fit for me?

< Will I have to replace the floor and the gas tank at a certain point?> Yes, but that is to be expected in any boat that lives in salt water. 15-20 years tops, usually more like 10-15. That is, for aluminum tanks. I have owned an 1801 for five years and love it. The used boats bring a...

    Parker News Release Nov 2020

LOL... you are obviously not a shooter. Or maybe just too young. Nothing to do with boats. The ownership of Winchester Firearms changed about 1970. The rifles built prior to that have a cult following. Still.

Any visible corrosion is unusual. One of the photo captions says "Leak on tilt trim." Is that from corrosion or a seal failing?

Ordering a new Parker from factory?

I ordered my 2015 1801. But that was before the company sale and before COVID. So things might be a little different now.

    Anchor blocking ideas

Here's an improvement on the turnbuckle rig. They are called pelican hooks and are used in sailboat lifelines.

My 2015 is 8-0 on a bunk trailer, no t-top. Can you inspect one at a local dealer?

    Parker 1801cc Trolling Motor

TM has to go to one side of the bow or the other to clear the anchor locker lid. As I mentioned in the other thread, think about where your TM goes and where the batteries go. Don't put them on the same side. Batteries are better off in the console than the aft seats (which is where mine are)...

    2021 1801 Parker with Yamaha 150 fxb

I have a 2015 1801. In November 2017 I installed a MinnKota Ulterra 80# 60" 24 V trolling motor. It has done everything I expected. I fish in a river with currents up to about 4 MPH. Never had any trouble fighting the current or holding a position with SpotLock. The 60" shaft has been plenty...
