    Towing an 1801

Also the class II hitch has a max tongue rating of 200lbs which I believe you'll be exceeding.

    Towing an 1801

The two-door models have a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 lbs. I'm not saying I've never done it but Sh!t happens. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has stated that more than 50 percent of all car crashes happen within 25 miles of drivers' homes. Regardless of how...

    Towing an 1801

I pulled my 1801 with my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.0 fulltime AWD Steep hills you say? Better have trailer brakes and a trans cooler.

    I Smell Fuel

How old are the current hoses? Might as well do them all if they are more than 15-20 years old. Tank history?

    Adding floor box

If I ever need to do my fuel tank I plan on taking advantage of those unutilized voids below deck. In the files section you can look at the stringer layout to help make an assessment. Quality large hatches are a must.

Prop recommendation for 2006 Parker 1801 with Yamaha 130hp 2stroke

For most the OEM stainless 17p should meet your needs. What prop is on it now? What hole is the outboard mounted in? What are your wide open throttle rpm's and at what max GPS speed? With everything in top order and a light load you should be in the 38-40 mph range in flat conditions.

Squealing noise after installing a four blade prop

How does the prop feel when you spin it by hand in neutral? any resistance/noise? 15p prop seem a little lite unless you are running fully loaded all the time or towing a lot. I run the OEM 17p stainless and it jumps out of the water.

1801 Add Anchor Windlass Syetem (bad back)

Same set up as yours. If it isn't done right it's going to look like crap. When I anchor I go over the bow rail not through it and tie off on the outside of the rail to the cleat. For retrieving I stand on the bow and just ease it straight up. Maybe consider just a simple bow roller first so...

    Caulking base of center console

Life Seal by Boatlife. Clean the area and use masking/painters tape on the deck to give a clean line.

    Caulking base of center console

The caulking wouldn't be necessary if Parker glassed in a riser for the rigging holes. Those plastic covers are a joke. They should have been caulked.
