Not to much Striper action in Southern Cal...

A dual chamber tank is a must if you are fishing fin bait and squid. I have a 52 gallon single chamber tank and when the squid is around I wish I had a dual tank.

Welcome... I purchased my 2330 from North Carolina and also used USHIP.com to have it towed out here. It worked out very well and was one of the more inexpensive ways. I paid $2000 last October.

How is the water circulation in the live well? Will it keep the bait healthy for extended periods of time?

All vehicle codes are done by state. So you would not need a permit for each county. I believe the permit in CA is around $70 a year. I would check with the DMV or AAA for exact details on restrictions and cost. Drew
