My 1801 deck cap has what appear to be 3” aluminum “tabs” “angle iron “ or brackets that are screwed to the cap and parts of the hull, stiffening the deck. Some are missing. Does anyone know a source for these?
My 1801 has 2 large drains on the transom below the scuppers. One drains the live well. What’s the other one drain? I put water down the anchor well, forward deck compartment, and forward cooler, but none of those seem to exist there.
I had a friend go fishing with me the other day and he stood behind me in the boat. If I trimmed the motor up at all it started to porpoise. I also have a t-top and 2 batteries in the back. The tabs were less than $500.
The boat I purchased has a Garmin 545s which is connected to a transducer but not an antenna and a Garmin 4208 which is connected to an antenna, but not a transducer. Is there a simple way to connect the two devices? I like using the 545 as a dedicated sounder and the 4208 as a dedicated gps...
Yes, he replied. He recommended the Bolt (Bennett’s electric) tabs. I wanted to go 12x12 but it looks like the 9x12 edge mount are the only ones that will fit under the swim ladder.
I’ve been emailing with tabman and it looks like I’m limited by my swim platform. I think I’m going to go with the 9x12 edge mount Bennet Bolt tabs. Anyone tried these on an 1801?
I am trying to determine which tabs to install on my 1801. I’ve seen that some have gone with Lenco 9x12s and some have gone with Bennett 10x12 M120 sport tabs. What about Lenco 12x12s? I’ve never had tabs on a boat before but I keep reading how great they are for this boat and want to install...
I purchased an '07 1801 last week and would like to know how big the tank is. From what I've seen online, this number has changed over the years, up and down?
I’ve seen that the newer 1801s have a wedge shaped back cushion for the jump seats. I’m interested in having something similar made for an older model. Does anyone have any good photos? I can’t tell how they’re attached to the rear coaming, whether snapped on or permanently attached. Thx.
