    Parker Stringer Layouts

1800 40 gallon tank. This also came in a 60 but I do not have those plans. Would appreciate them though as that’s what mine is 🙂

    2011 Parker 2320 Garmin 740S Depth/Fish finder not working

I earned thirteen exclamation points without even dipping into my sarcasm? What a great way to start the day. You might want to check for fuel leaks if you are in the bilge anyway.

    2011 Parker 2320 Garmin 740S Depth/Fish finder not working

If by “in hull” you are referring to a shoot through hull vs. a through hull ducer, check the reservoir. If the anti-freeze is gone that would explain it. Bad seal maybe.

    Sports Cabin Ceiling Height?

Definitely don’t want to do that so I am making it reversible. I won’t have a radar so weight won’t be an issue. Working out the profile in CAD now. I’ll post designs for, gulp, open comment 🙂

    Sports Cabin Ceiling Height?

What is the ceiling height inside your cabins and would you prefer it to be different? I am making a bolt-on doghouse for my 1800CC and have landed at about 7'. I'm 6' and this would give me room to bounce around plus have electronics hanging down. Thanks, Sam

NEW -N.C. Wildlife 18 Ft Parker w/200 Yamaha

You would need to change the hull shape in order to change the floating displacement. More foam would only offset any water that got inside the hull. I’m not sure about the 1801 but it wouldn’t be an issue on my 1800 but for the standard transom build.

    Dashboard riser 21SE

Very nice. I am working out something similar for my 1800. How much does the face tilt back, both for viewing angle and steering wheel clearance? I’m loosing too much electronics space and now leaning towards tilting the wheel forward. Here are some mock-up and mold pics:

    My Boston Based 1801

3A is the Parker dealer in that area but I stopped going there ions ago. I’ve done well with Monahan’s though they are under new ownership who I have not worked with yet. Dale was always reliable for shop recommendations.

    Have you Neglected your trailer?

Maybe pop the hubs off and try the salt and vinegar trick next time? I’m always amazed at how that eats through rust like maggots on a wound. At the very least it would clean the up for more purchase. Those rims less than helpful…

    My Boston Based 1801

Welcome 🙂 Out of curiosity, who and how was the tank condition evaluated? Will you do the work yourself or have you picked a shop to do it?

    Hello From Brimfield Massachusetts

That tow in going to be an experience in itself. Have you considered shipping the rig at least part of the way? If you are committed to towing, have you sorted out service and resupply options along the route? Lots for us to learn here.

Boat For Sale 2012 - 1801 For Sale

I can’t add much to the asking price comments but may be able to help with maximizing the interest and eventual sale price. The photos are good but could be improved and added to. 1801s are big boats for their size. Since prospects might not have been on one, you will need to show them how...

21SE for Mass North Shore waters?

FWIW, I run an 1800 and cover the kind of water that you are looking to. There are days that I launch in Marshfield, run to P-Town, then down to Chatham. I’ve gotten the call and had to run from the SWC to Gloucester, or Cuttyhunk to Pt. Judith. Splashed in Westport to fish The Claw and Dump...

    843Parker 1801(Bristol Condition)

Very clean work on your electrical and rigging. I hear you on the zones, it is just that servicing batteries has been such a PITA that I am willing to compromise. Hopefully I can rethink this with seatback access. Would love to hear more about your electrical.

    843Parker 1801(Bristol Condition)

I’d be concerned about the structure and also the wear and tear of that location. The door frame probably wouldn’t mitigate the loss of structure any. If I end up popping the top off during my project, I will definitely reinforce the front so that I can put a substantial hatch behind the...

    843Parker 1801(Bristol Condition)

98’ Johnson 115 FICHT (dead) to either a Yam or Zuk in the 115-150 range. I’ve disconnected the wiring and removed the Johnson gauges so that I can patch up and modify the console. Will probable pull the top off of it to make work on the inside easier.

    843Parker 1801(Bristol Condition)

Would really like to see some photos when you have time. I’m repowering and refreshing my 1800 and could use the inspiration. The in-console storage is something I was pondering too.

1801 vs Sea Hunt 186, all things being "equal"

Very interesting photos. I’m curious what is going on in the square section in front of the gas tank. My older 1800 has an access port on the deck just back from there, over the tank. I would think about adding terminal blocks to the bow to support a trolling motor in the future. More pics...
