1801 Add Anchor Windlass Syetem (bad back)

Adding to what Pelicic said and looking at the pix. The exposed back side of the anchor locker will need a hatch. This will allow access to bolt all the stuff in...and fix line foul as they do sometimes with a windless. The Lewmar 700 Free Fall is the most popular. It uses a 1/2in line...

Single Step Swim Platform/Ladder on early 2000's Parker

I bought a boat that had one..... But the Original platform on it had been replaced with plywood.... and it was going down hill fast also. I built a new one from 1/2in Coosa and Fiberglassed it. It's holding up Extremely Well and it's White gelcoated.

    200 Suzuki 4-Stroke on 23SE?

You'll Be a LOT happier with the performance. I would guess for 25MPH speed... The 225 would turn aprox 3500 -3800... Which is a comfortable ride.

    200 Suzuki 4-Stroke on 23SE?

A 23ft boat with a 175 2 stroke Had to be a PIG. A DF250 would be a MUCH better choice. Just because you have the Power, doesn't mean you need to use it. Yes I know this is not the same.... But it's a example. I have a 2072 SeaArk. [Giant Jon Boat] It was powered by a 90 2 stroke. Once I...

The view and placing the boat on a trailer from a Crows Nest is 5 times better /easier. Face it... You can't see the trailer when you are in the pilothose and a boats length off the trailer. As I said.... Controls up Top ARE a Game Changer. Seeing Birds, Fish schooling on the surface is All...

The answer is No . Not site fishing for Cobia. Put Controls on it.... It WILL open a New world. It's like reef fishing here. Some can hold the boat on the spot.... Those are few and far between on a small craft.... Some anchor....And then GPS Trolling Motors came along. It's a Game...

We used ours site fishing for Cobia. Communication with who is steering the boat sucked, because they could not hear well.... They could not See what you were seeing Well to maneuver the boat into position to serve up / present a bait. In the frenzy if the captain ran over , got to close...

    Identify My 2520

You asked about Performance. Wish you had better pix's of engine mounted, But looks like it is mounted all the way down? There are Performance gains from raising the engine to where....When it's on Plane in smooth water the Anticabation plate runs at or Just below the surface of the water. You...

Fuel Tank Failure in Parker Boats

While the tanks are Lag bolted they are foamed to hold them in place with 4lb density foam. There is Nothing wrong with foaming a tank in. The problem comes from water leaking into the foam and touching the alum. Alum by nature self seals from air. There is no air circulation in the bilge...

Best location for thru hull for a/c install on 2520 MV

Easy access to plumb and not in front of your X-Ducer. Best I can do without actually looking at it.

Fuel Tank Failure in Parker Boats

Here is what you need to understand. It's all manufactures with a 15+ year old tank.... It's not exclusive to Parker. Mako, Grady White, Cape Horn, SeaVee, I've replaced a Plastic tank in a Mavrick also. Tank was warped and sender would not seal.

Armstrong twin engine aluminum bracket on Parker’s?

From what I remember....... Stainless Marine had stickers on them..... Armstrong did not.... But that really doesn't mean anything. Now Stainless Marine had Pie covers that had multi screws to hold them on. Armstrong uses Their Piehole covers which are superior. I cut the hole larger on my...

Armstrong twin engine aluminum bracket on Parker’s?

Stainless Marine use to make them. Armstrong does now. Do NOT use a Copper based antifoul on alum...... PERIOD! That includes your engine.
