    Help Trolling Motor Nightmare

That type battery tray and the plastic strap. Put your hand on the battery...Now try and shake the piss out of it. It moved in the tray , didn't it? They all do with those and why I take them out and throw them away. You don't see it when your running the boat, but your batteries are getting...

    2520XLD Anchor and chain

The 9lb is rated for 17'-27' size boats. Always go up from what the info says at least 1 size. 14lb is rated for 27'-31'. 25ft 1/4in chain will do you fine. Don't think of anchoring at the island..... Think of the emergency I enlarged the anchor locker on mine.... It would hold 600ft-...

    2510 300 Suzuki Steering

Silver Series is rated for High Torque/High Horsepower. If I remember correctly? This one is up to 600HP. After you see enough Seastar's leak..... I wanted a HP/Heavy duty unit that would stand the test of time. Most people will not spend the $$. I on the other hand will, to buy quality...

I don't use those any more. Shoving bare wires in a hole with a setscrew is how a lot of people do them. It should have farrels on the wires, but I still don't use them , as the Battery Tender TM plug is superior. I just installed one yesterday.

    Jackplate on a 1801?

I would disagree with you... We have been discussing engine height changes here for over a decade. Now I will speak to all boats in general... The manufacture or dealer usually has the engines to low... They don't care that your not getting max performance out of it... They also don't have...

    99 21se f150 outboard height

From what you just said.... It changes "Tone" in the when corning. I would say no..... But there are variables... How hard are you turning and how much up trim do you have? Not turning as tight at high speed and or trimming it down in the corners helps to not blow out and stay hooked up...This...

Are you by chance speaking of a Anderson plug? Anything hanging is going to be flopping around....and in a anchor locker is eventually going to be snagged. This is a Anderson plug

    Jackplate on a 1801?

Don't know where you got that number? 1in of pitch is usually a "Standard" of 200RPM in figuring. I have seen 150 to 200 RPM in figuring. You have it backwards... You reset the height 1st.... Then the prop change. Doing it as YOU said.... You would do a prop change.... $$$$ ..... Then do a...

    99 21se f150 outboard height

There is a problem. You went out of sequenze.... You move the engine 1st.... Then you reprop. Raising the engine will free the boat up... Less drag.... This will also raise the RPM max. That is when you reprop to bring it in spec. From your pix's... it will be one or two holes higher.... You...

    Cross member drainage

Yes... It needs drain holes where they did not put them. On bottom side front & aft of the dimple [lowest point. They also need a hole thru the side of the frame rail so that the inside of crossmemberrs can be flushed easily. Galvanized box tubes rust from the inside out, due to not being...

    Shout out to Parker

Wouldn't it be a shame if you bought a tank..... Put it in storage for 4yrs.... Your tank finally springs a leak.... You cut the old one out, only to find the one you bought will not Fit. This is why when you get ready...... You cut the old one out...Take to a fafricator and they build to...

    Suzuki DF250AP 2023. 1999 2320 no bracket Turning Point 4X15x15

Good.... But I have to question YOUR dealership.... THEY don't know or understand Suzuki's. If they did..... That 15.25 X 19 would have Never been installed.... Sounds like they are a Yamaha dealership that just took on Suzuki's. There is a Difference... as I explained above with gear ratio...

    Suzuki DF250AP 2023. 1999 2320 no bracket Turning Point 4X15x15

And you went the WRONG way. The 17in pitch will get you on plane Faster than a 19in pitch. You need more test time with THAT prop. It surprises me on your numbers [5950] I would bet the RPM would climb even higher. By the way that is known as a "Square" prop wen Diameter and pitch match...

    Cross member drainage

Your not missing a thing... It's a Piss Poor design. Maybe ....... Maybe Not ...... Need good pix's. Is the trailer galv. or alum ? Is the trailer boxed tubing or I beam ? Need pix's of the ends where crossmembers connect main rails and the centers of the crossmembers.... COMPLETE...

    Suzuki DF250AP 2023. 1999 2320 no bracket Turning Point 4X15x15

Standard...Go To Prop is. 3 X 16 X 17 and has been posted to use that a LOT. The Standard is.... for every 1in of pitch change your RPM will change by 200RPM. So......With your numbers 3X16X19 @ 5500.. You should see a increase of 400RPM to make your engine hit 5900 which puts it right in the...

Past information has been a LOT of problems with self deploy.... I've never installed one and steer people away from them. Nothing like a half deployed TM that is stuck. THEN what do you do? You will need to build a alum plate to affix the quick release mount to. This will cantilever over the...

Recommendation to repower 04' 25se with a single.

This is a Plate....... Refereed to as a "JACK plate. This is a Engine Bracket [Not refereed to as a plate] They are typically built out of alum... Some are Fiberglass. Parker used a company called "Stainless Marine" to supply them...But they are NOT stainless...They are alum. Latter on...
