Install Kicker motor 2320SL Armstrong bracket

To piggy-back on Warthogs suggestion. I had removed all of the s/s screws in the front windows (Diamond Sea-Glaze) of our 2520, and installed nylon washers under all of the the screws before re-installing. I also used Fluid Film on the screws to add some extra protection where the screw-part...

    windlass

Hi Hali-Bootie, here's a 'snip' of our Pro-Fish 700.... I also have a dozen videos of it if interested. Although I don't have an issue with the anchor rode 'piling up' in the rode locker, with your 600 feet it would help to mount yours farther back (Like Warthog does), over the deeper part of...

    2501 SE?

This may help.... Here's a picture of a 2501. It shows two lift-strakes at the bow, and 2 means it's the deep-v... at least it does with all other Parker 25's...

    Parker Font Boat Name

Hi oakhillseric, At first, I thought you put the line over the 'E' (and the 'A') as a 'pronunciation-aid', as in a 'long-E', 'long-A'... (pronounced Fee Lay, in stead of fella)... If not a pronunciation-aid, I'd say remove the line/lines to lessen confusion. (just my opinion).

    replacement cushions

Hi gman, try Ryan Allred at 252-241-4907.... I don't think they have a web site. They supposedly do a large variety of boat-related services, including boat cushions; I don't know this for a fact, but I've heard they're on Gillikin Road, Harkers Island near Otway. Please let us know if you...

Suggested source for gear oil and engine oil , filters, drain plug gaskets etc thanks

I mostly buy from SIM Yamaha. www.simyamaha.com. I've had good service, and one of the people I deal with there is 'Andy'... what can I say!☺

New Member! Exploring the Great Lakes

Hey DrVagabond, welcome to ClassicParker... I agree you made a good choice between the other boats you mentioned; a prejudiced opinion, as we too have a 2520 XLD. There's a lot of mostly non-BS, yap-crap conversation here on ClassicParker, and an amazing number of experienced, talented folks who...

    New to the page…not parkers

Hey FvReeltime, welcome to Classic Parker! Love the gin-pole; I don't recall seeing one on a Parker before. Very handy for dragging in the 'big-uns'!

    New member post

Hey JustJim, welcome to Classic Parker.... The Parker pilothouse boats are great for occasional 'over-nighters'... On a 2520, with one person it's very comfortable. Two are 'do-able'.. ☺ Three, are ten people too many!

Boat For Sale (Need sold im moving) Parker 2530

Hi Brentons1045, This is just a recommendation; more information would be helpful. For example, where is the boat?... what HP engines?.... more photos?.... engine hours?....

    Drainage mat

I'm not sure what you mean by 'drainage-mat'?... On our pilothouse floors I use thick 'textured', soft-rubber', black, yoga mats cut to fit the spaces. They cushion the floor for standing and kneeling, are inexpensive, durable and easy to remove for cleaning... I know this is not the best...

    Steering Wheel Knob Recommendations

That is really a great concept/idea! Draw up a diagram, get a patent, and sell the idea to Edson or one of the other manufacturers.

    Kitchen Galley removal on 2530

Nice job installing the bench-seat! And getting a 'free-bee' from a dealer may be a 'first'! ☺... I'm amazed at the different 'likes/wants' with people and our boats.... The 2530 is my favorite Parker model, and one of the main reasons for this, is the galley package! Go figure... I guess it...

    mold on carpet

It work well on the mildew on the 'carpet' in our 2520.... I was also going to try a hand-held steam machine, but was afraid the steam might melt the glue that holds the 'carpet' in place.....

    Steering Wheel Knob Recommendations

I agree with a lot of the 'knob' comments, both pro and con. My 2-cents (being in my 70's, with bad arthritic hands) the knob is much easier to grasp, than just grabbing the wheel itself; especially in cold weather. (Cold weather makes mt hands hurt more). For me, this is true both docking, and...

    Rod Holder Mounting Surface Gap

I've sanded and shaped perfectly-sized/shaped custom 'wedges' to fill the gaps in antenna mounts, door-dog mounting plates and rod holders like yours, using teak and have also used dense pvc/ plastic. It takes a little time and patience. Most of the work was done with a bench-style belt-sander...

    Steering Wheel Knob Recommendations

I'll too, add 2cents; Pro-Edson. One example; most recently, the center 'cap' on our Edson that's on the wheel in the cockpit station on our 2520, fell off and went in the water. I called Edson to order a new a cap. They said, "it shouldn't have fallen off", and sent me a new one, no-charge...
