    Help on pricing

I am thinking about selling my 1999 21 SE. My plan is to buy a new 22CC. Boat is in great condition- for a boat built in ‘99 (we are original owners) and was re-engined last year with a new Yamaha 200 4 stroke engine with Yamaha information display system (less than 200 hours on the engine...

    Deck paint

As warthog mentioned it looks like my old gelcoat has opened up its porosity! So I need to do my entire floor/deck on my 21 SE. Should I use marine paint with some non-skid as some have suggested or is this a gelcoat project?

    Deck paint

I have a ‘99 21 SE, that was handed down from my dad. He used bleach to always clean the deck now dirt is just embedded in the fiberglass. Power washing and cleaning doesn’t really help. So I am thinking of painting the deck. I am concerned with maintenance and cleaning. How easy has it been to...

Still water leaking into 1999 Parker 21 SE

Caulked the rub rail, replaced the sea ****. Flat days no water when I take it out. On rough days or days when I have my 300 pd friend on the boat I seem to be taking on water… not noticeable until I get back, out the boat on the trailer and take the plug out on a steep incline. It’s a...

Anyone familiar with these Parker bolster helm chairs?

And yes I got them from great lakes skipper. Chairs were new. Delivered fast (but expensive). Spoke to the guys there a couple of times. Always responsive.

Anyone familiar with these Parker bolster helm chairs?

Not a problem. We have a break between the two cyclone storms that have come through before number 3 arrives Tuesday. I plan on going out Sunday and doing some inshore fishing. Happy to do some measurements for you. Exactly what measurements do you want.

Anyone familiar with these Parker bolster helm chairs?

I put these on my Parker 21se ‘99 because the old seats were looking worn. I have had them for 2 months. I really like the seat and enjoy the flexibility of standing or sitting while running to a fishing spot. Worth the money in my opinion for what I needed.

    Taking on a little water

A couple of people have mentioned that… I don’t see any water hitting on my anchor locker when I am running. It’s an old boat… I do see some rust marks around my trim tabs and also the trailer hook in the bow. Otherwise this is a mystery.

Ok. Spoke too soon. On rough days still getting some water. Not a lot but it’s not water tight. Any additional ideas?

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. Finished caulking the rub rail and voila … no water draining out when I open the drain plug today. Thanks for the help

    Taking on a little water

I see a pretty good gap in the rail rub towards the aft of the boat which might explain why I seem to get more water in rough days. Going to call today. Fingers crossed that’s the fix. I appreciate the advice!
