Help on 23se prop 225 yamaha

Any bottom growth or paint (free to check)? Can you weigh the boat to check for water in the hull (20ish bucks at Cat scales, plus you will know what your truck and boat weigh)? Charles in Maine has a 23se with a 250. Hit him up for his prop info.

PARKER 2018 23SE BOAT COMFORT QUESTIONS

You may consider trading me for my '19 2320. I am looking for less comfort since my grown kids rarely go now with college and work. I'm kidding (mostly). No forward seating is a plus for me.

Why did you remove it? Smelling gas?

    New/used 2501 owner!!!

Congratulations! Don't get THAT hung up on engine height yet. It may be good for a hundred RPMs and it keeps the props buried in the rough. Run it and learn it, then make incremental changes. Give it a year. I didn't and wish I had. One of the best changes I made was changing to 18" wide tab...

New Parker 2320 vs. Used 2520 vs. Eastern 248 or 27?

I have a '19 2320. All it takes to be an awesome family boat is cockpit seating and a sunshade. If not a hardcore fisherman, I would do a nice stainless steel bow Bimini top. I have 2 deck chairs and 2 Yetis, a 75 and 65. I line them up on each gunwale facing each other. The cabin is great...

You are exactly right. It's like a 3 piece whose deck makes the turn and goes under the gunwales. For instance, you can't see the bracket bolts from the inside.

4.2 liter folks, check your latches

I had one that was sticking badly and was getting ready to break. Upon disassembly, the whole shaft was rusted badly. I had already scraped/brushed and lubed before it occured to me to post. All of them had rust originating inside the lower sleeve, see pics. Also lube the little rolling...

23DV Bow Rod Holder Install Question

What does the anchor locker look like inside? If it is like the 2320, it drains to the bilge. It looks like the two up front are going in that envelope? For very little money and labor, you could glass that drain over and send that water overboard, which is ALL good. That bulkhead under the...

This sounds like an AI response. Bits of correct generalities with a mishmash of bs...like checking the Parker forum.

You may have to (ever so slightly) make the take assembly positive pressure. As in gently blowing air into to tank, NOT plugging with a fixture and pressurizing. This could make a trackable stream of vapor.

Klein makes a combustible gas detector that is 120 bucks. It would probably detect gasoline fumes if it detects propane. Maybe you can rent a similar device.

    Adding floor box

Man, I love spending other people's money. Years ago, I bought a custom leaning post from them, Birdsall Marine that is. It transformed the back of the boat, (it had a flip-flop cooler seat) and made it so much more enjoyable. Both Birdsall and FR make REALLY nice stuff, though not the...
