Charcoal Canister on fuel vent. - Out with it or not?

If there is an issue with fueling, there is a thread a month or two old that may help. Mine would trip the nozzle lock. By turning the gasoline nozzle to better direct the fuel down the hose, it no longer happens and will fill at a full flow rate.

    Adding live well

Or, you could plumb another pump in and add a portable tank. I used a 40 gallon Moeller, fill with my wash down pump, and overflow to the floor. You could easily plumb in a livewell pump as well, with a wash down type fitting. I know the washdown pump is not meant for that, but for 3 or 4...

    Water in fuel

You may consider a tube of USS tefgel and put some on the sending unit screws, and anywhere else aluminum and SS interface (my 2019 engine bracket ladder screws were beginning to corrode to the aluminum). Messy, sticky effective stuff.

Has anyone added an aftermarket t-top?

I thought rednecks used PVC. Hell, I was 23 before I learned people used it for plumbing.

    2020 1801 Bilge Location

Do you trailer your boat? I use about 5 feet of cotton wick material, laid in the lowest spot of the bilge, and hang it out the garboard drain about a foot. The air blowing over it combined with the wicking action will dry the bilge in a day, and keep it dry. I wrapped it around a little...

Fueling trouble? Check this out, may help.

Picture where the pie plate is to access the hose connection of the tank. Point the nozzle at it when filling. It worked for me and a few others. You may have to experiment with yours.

Seeking advice on repowering a 2001 2300 dvcc

That's about what I get. I have 18" wide tabs, a permatrim, and a 17" Rev 4. By myself, shakedown run only (light as I will ever be) got 3.1 from 24mph at 3400 rpm to 28mph at 3800 rpm. Redlines right at 6000 under these rare conditions. I Cat Scaled it once at 7000 pounds even on the trailer.

Seeking advice on repowering a 2001 2300 dvcc

That seems 10 mph low. My 2320 will do 50, but no bottom paint. Must be a shoiitload of drag.

Fuel Tank Failure in Parker Boats

So did you have to replace the tank?

    2002 2320 repower question

Consider sealing your pie plates with Lifeseal, and drill an overboard drain in your anchor locker. It will keep your new tank very dry. Lifeseal is easy enough to pop off when you need to get under the plates, obviously minimizes leakage and limits the spinning when you step on them. Sending...

    Bow sitting low ?

This is me on THT. You really need to check it out, but it's a l ong read. Lots of pictures. Start with a $30 wifi endoscope camera off Amazon. https://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-forum/1029104-parker-2320-water-trapped-hull-fixed.html

    Adding swim platform

I will never use 4000 uv. I used it twice and it made it less that 2 years both times. Once on my 2005 Sea Pro, and once on the gunwale seam on my 2320. Use 5200. If it was an outboard, that's one thing, but you are talking about 4 small pads. Just because it is made for permanent...

    18 CC or 18 SE ?

I climbed aboard a 22 a few weeks ago. It felt like all the interior dimensions were off, and sort of off putting. I hated walking around the rear of the leaning post and not having a good sturdy handle on the leaning post, for instance.

    18 CC or 18 SE ?

Yep, and kiss the coaming pads goodbye.

    21' SE

No experience, but it would depend on the work involved. IOW, the tanks themselves go for x dollars per gallon, so you can calculate that. A boat with a T-top would be more than a straight CC, and a pilothouse would probably be cheaper since you only cut the floor and don't have to derig a...

    21' SE

JMO, but an early 2000s boat is potentially due for a tank, so make sure it is priced accordingly. The stern seating with the thing in the middle is optional, I believe. It may be more family friendly, but whichever provides better bilge access would be for me. I like the console on the 21...
