I remember you started out with a 2120 and within a year you bumped up to the 2520. You have a beautiful boat I agree think long and hard about selling, as I am sure you took a big hit with the 2120 and you will take a hit with this one

If you go with another 2520xld I would say a pair of 200's is ideal. Enough power and decent fuel consumption. Also depends om how many you usually have aboard, if number is 4 or more most of the time go 28

5.7-6.3 seems to be sweet spot. Faster if wahoo around

It was a decent day weather wise. The trip previous it was really flat, we had 9 yellowfins on that trip but my buddies go pro had issues that day

I once had a piece of thin braid that got sucked up in there. I use a large paper clip and run it through the hole every year.

Nice job. We have been seeing a lot of bluefins on our way back and forth from canyons but have thrown everything at them and cannot get a touch. We were in a pod of 150-200 lb fish just cruising pushing water, we could have harpooned one easily. The yellowfin fishing in the canyons has been off...

Mine came with brackets but I used the ones that were already mounted when I switched over to LED. If you don't have any I can find this pair in my garage someplace

Both my forward and stern pumps have switches at helm but forward will not kick on with the float unless batteries are on

I had that problem with my 2120, I just siliconed the joint under the rub rail with Boat Life and never had another leak. I feel for you, it would bug the crap out of me as well
