    Crack in New Parker

Pretty easy fix if you do it yourself but since it is so new I would just call the dealer and have his gelcoat man come an fix it, not a big deal but I know the feeling. I had a crack like that in each corner off the anchor locker after a year and just fixed it along with any other chips or...

    Window Manufacturer 2520XLD 2015

I had a leak in my fixed port side sliding glass window. I tried Wynne but they did not supply for Parker in 2015. Looking to replace aluminum splines used to hold window in frame.

2015 Parker 2120 SC Leaking Side Windows

I tried to go bass fishing this morning but ocean was still a mess. Went back to dock and popped out gasket and aluminum splines. Spotted the problems right away, 2 spots where there wasn't a good bead of sealant which was causing the leak. I pried the glass from the frame and cleaned up old...

2015 Parker 2120 SC Leaking Side Windows

Funny now I have the same leak in my port slider. I am going to have to pop out gaskets and re set glass in a fresh bead of black silicone after scraping all the old stuff off. With a good storm and wind I would get standing water in cabin. Hopefully it warms up next week so I can do it or wait...

Ordering a new Parker from factory?

September was a good time to order as Parker and the dealers give discounts to keep the crews busy in winter. I ordered my boat (2015) in Sept 14. The new sticker price come Jan of 15 was supposed to be 117 for a 2520 XLD. With Parker and dealer discounts I got it for 90k. Boat was delivered in...

Parker Bow Picture and Windlass Fitting Question

The way the factory installs the Lewmar 700 is not ideal. As mentioned only use 8 plaite rode as 3 strand will bind up an cause issues. I always have to stop midway retrieving anchor to sweep back rode in the locker or it will pile up under the hole and jam. I've seen guys make a plate over the...

    New Yamaha 425 on 2520XLD

I guess I will check my plate when I go down to tidy up later. Those 425's are big ass engines though lol

    New Yamaha 425 on 2520XLD

I would be interested in the details with the 425 myself. I have a 2520 xld with a single 300 and would love the additional HP. I think the hull is rated for 400 HP max though and not sure about the weight issue

    carpet

I have had great success using RMR 86. It is a super bleach that kills mildew, mold etc. I spray it on afffected area scrub with a brush and the stain, mold etc disappears. Keeps my carpet lining like new.

300 Yamaha, 'Milky' Oil in Lower Unit Lube/Oil

Seems like I am not alone, in fact a buddy of mine blew his lower 3 weeks ago, he had a pair of 300's on his regulator. For some reason they only changed the seal on one engine and it was the other one that blew, it actually blew a hole in the side of the lower unit. It took him about 2 weeks to...

300 Yamaha, 'Milky' Oil in Lower Unit Lube/Oil

I have a 2015 2520XLD, F300UCA bought new. From day one I had issues regarding lower unit oil. After the first 25 hours check I found out after the fact the mechanic used syn Etech lower unit oil which is a big no-no as it states in owners manual never use syn lower unit oil. I am in my 6th...

    Yamaha 250's or 300's on 2820xld?

Go with the 300's as that is a heavy boat and you will be happy with whatever extra HP you can get. The 300 is a pretty solid engine, just have to watch lower unit fluid as they seem to have some kind of issue with shift shaft, prop shaft seals. I have close to 2,000 hrs on mine

    Replacing wiper arms?

I stopped by another advanced auto this morning and they had the tool, but as you mentioned you have to modify the tool. After beating on them for 3 days I had enough. I took an awl and whacked it on an angle which got some movement. I then kept spraying liquid wrench. After beating for them for...

    Replacing wiper arms?

Hit it with a torch today, brought different blocking etc. Those arms are welded with salt. Got a little more play on each side with a large screw driver. Hit it again with PB Blaster. I ordered a removal tool from Amazon which is coming Tuesday, hopefully that finishes it off. I searched all...

    Replacing wiper arms?

Well I went down today and was able to flip cover to get to the set screw. I was able to loosen the set screw but that's where my fun died. The arm was frozen to the adaptor and the spline from the motor. I guess I will try the trick mentioned above and also hit it with a little heat. If it...

    Replacing wiper arms?

I am going down to boat later. Will bring PB Blaster and look for that set screw. If I can find that short piece with the nipple on it that would save me $$ and aggravation

    Replacing wiper arms?

Seems like the little bump on both wiper arms are worn down and now my wiper blades have fallen off the last couple of trips. How do you get the arms off? I see there is a nut on the threaded sleeve but not sure how to attempt it. Thanks for any help
