2320:Tower Helm Station hydraulic lines question

In ca no bridge or underpass is lower than 14 feet. It's more of a belly hoop with tower control. The antenna folds down so doesn't add to the height. I'll post a build post soon with everything I'm doing :)

    Parker 2320 USCG doc?

Update: I sent in the paperwork for registration. Based on the simplified gross/net tonnage calculation the parker 2320 does quality for USCG documentation. Based on my numbers it came out to 5.2 net tonnage which is perfectly above the minimum of 5 net tonnes. No more CF numbers :D

2320:Tower Helm Station hydraulic lines question

Has anyone here run hydraulic lines to a tower in their 2320? I am planning on moving my second control station to the tower. Wondering, best way to run the hydraulic lines. Can a single line be run up the starboard wall channel, into the Roof T channel, down the middle towards the bow and up...

hiding windlass wiring on parker 2320

Thanks Jim! I looked at the link before and didnt like how the wiring can still be seen. It may be the only option. I have the stainless drapery pins coming in and hopefully that can hide the cable even better. Hard to explain, but i'll post pictures if it works. thanks!

hiding windlass wiring on parker 2320

I am putting in a windlass and looking at the way to run the wiring, i dont see a space to hide the wires very well. There is a soffit along the side, but no way to really hide it. the wiring to the front nav lights are hidden under the carpet. One idea i have is to use some drapery pins and...

    helm box thickness

Took a look today, its almost 1 inch in certain reinforced parts. the side walls are 1/4 thin so if i mount there i need to put some ply wood up on it and maybe paint it. We will see how much space i need. May be tight with autopilot, Structure scan box, ri10 for radar, etc..

    helm box thickness

Not sure if thats the right lingo, but i am planning on adding some electronics into the helm box area. does anyone know how thick the fiberglass is? Do most people mount a wood board to the inside and then mount electronics to that? I dont want screws going through. the starboard side is ok to...

Thanks, mine are also 30 degree, the one that goes straight back and one that is 45 degree. i just worry about the mid ship one at 90 degree that the rod holder doesnt press against the side gunwale. should be ok.

parker 2320: adding a 30 degree rod holder

Anyone know if you can add a 30 degree rod holder on the parker 2320 and have it go straight out instead of at an angle? The current rod holders, one goes straight back and the other is at an angle. I just dont know if it will fit and hit the gunwale side wall when putting in a 30 degree.
