    boaters license...

That's right - hadn't really realized it but there is no navigation in the course at all and only a brief mention of meteorology or weather systems. I inherited the navigation instruments that Dad used. Good to know the older methods of what is basically behind what a GPS does for you. The...

    Bean Bag Deck Chairs

That is a very good point toward purchasing good quality (marine grade) bean bags. But then it's all up to the user because some folks could put a dent in a steel ball..

    boaters license...

Well, as I understand; after taking the course and passing the state exam, you're a boating expert (in Virginia)! Most anyone can attest to the fact that I'm older than 14, so I'm good to go. (My wife may differ...) Looks like the PWC or 'motorcycles of the sea' are a large portion of the safety...

    boaters license...

I'm in the midst of taking the Boating Safety Course (online) through Boat US. It is very informative and time consuming but the benefits outweigh any inconvenience. Years ago my Dad (avid Sailor on his 38' Alden Yawl) was a member of the Power Squadron and I used to attend meetings with him -...

    boaters license...

I've been away from boating so long, I didn't realize there was a 'Boaters License' required....

    2320 SC SL w/ F225

We spent 26 years much too close to the water working on boats - big boats! That's been a long time ago too so have lost all our connections with the commercial end of boats - and also forgotten what a PITA boats are... We just wish to go fishing now and then out on the Bay but with some fine...

    2320 SC SL w/ F225

Bodick93, Excellent documentation! I just purchased a 2320 with a 225hp Yam. and your data, even though thorough is tough to extrapolate into usable info for this boat setup. But I read through the whole thread... I'll check with the folks at your recommended prop shop in Disputana since we are...

    2320 SC SL w/ F225

The boat is 2021 so the engine could be 2019 or 2020 or 2021 I guess...?

    2320 SC SL w/ F225

What four blade prop would be the proper size for this Parker 2320/F225?

    Bean Bag Deck Chairs

Been watching videos of offshore fishing in the Pacific and looking at all the Parkers. These CA guys are even buying our east coast used Parkers and shipping them home - for fishing out on the high seas! I noted one group going out to a specific location had a fairly long trip so the fellow...

    New guy checking in

It's a floor pacer to wait for your boat! I'm there! Wanted a 2520, which is a bit too much to trailer so dropped to a 2320 SC SL instead. This is a GREAT forum!!!

Boat For Sale And just like that... 2021 Parker 2320 SL SC w/F300 & loaded

Brunot, I have paid for the "2021 Parker 2320 SC SL" at WWB but communications are slow to acknowledge or send a BOS. They are busy this time of year so I'm not too concerned. They seem like good folks there too. The delay is probably due to having them install a windlass. I dealt with Dave with...

    Question about Parker Boats

This post read has been without a doubt the best! It's sort-of unusual that I read every word in these sorts of forums but I was glued to this one and read every word! I was disappointed when you guys stopped the discussion! I missed out on a lot of experiences after I did a hitch in Naval Air...

    Proud New 2320

My wife asked me where we would carry the ball... I'm still stinging from how I answered her. I'll need the windlass too now since I'll be accompanied on the boat by only a buoy ball. ;)

    Proud New 2320

The anchor ball retrieval system is scientific (basic physics), simple to perform and efficient - and no doubt costs about $3500 less than a windlass and its installation. Thanks for that! Darn shame I have already paid to have a windlass installed... It's a 'should have, could have' situation...
