ok............ I am assuming on my 2520 xld, if I can reuse the ram I would have to reposition it so it's in the center of the longer tab or maybe add a second ram for each tab? Anybody tried this ?

thanks for the info .............. so 18 wide x 12 out from the transom correct? on the 2320 correct? if so did you have to reposistion the actuators ? this is my first elec tabs , so far so good , are you happy w/ the lenco rams?

I did go w/ the power tech 4 blade but the boat still seems heavy in the stern at lower speeds. I have the lenco tabs now , any input on upgrading and using existing parts?

I am looking to upgrade and if I do want to go as large as possible . I mostly only use the tabs for leveling but the boat is much better at slow planing when the tabs are down to even ( parallel) with the hull . This makes me believe that bigger tabs at the same angle would be better yet...

Thanks for the info. With mine the droning seems to be engine noise / vibration transmitted to the hull which turns into a drum and resonates pretty bad . A v6 is not inherently smooth engine and the loads on them in a boat amplify the problem.

do you ever get a droning or resonance between 4 &5k ?? at certain spots in that range mine can be bad resonance wise. It's never there above 5k and just gets happier and quieter . it may be my prop and load combo as the boat really pushes easier at the faster speeds, just can't go that fast...

IMO, you are on the right track. I have a 2520 xld with the same 300 and going to a power tech 4b 13" pitch tranformed the boat in the snotty west coast swell and wind chop. on the heavier 2520 the lack of bottom end power is very pronounced. I can now hold a steady 18 -20 mph at 4000-4200 ...

I have a lightly used yamaha " T " series prop that is to much pitch for my boat . Yamaha part # 61A-45978-00-00 . It's my spare but I would like a more usable spare like a 15 1/4 x 15 T . Looking for a trade if possible. let me know what you have. thanks!

I tow my 2520xld w/ a chevy 2500 hd ( 8200gvw) . the small block 350 gets the job done but it's no rocket. the truck itself does fine as its rated over 10,000 towing.
