Buddy heaters do work well but I’m not fond of how much moisture they put inside the pilothouse. I also had a gas valve malfunction on mine last deer season and almost blew the windows out of my blind. A fireball almost hit the ceiling when it did ignite. Truthfully I’m a bit scared of it now...
