    Auto piolt

I don't know about Yamaha specifically but I have a Garmin autopilot and twin Suzuki 200's. There are several autopilot functions like Zig-zag and circle where you can set the parameters. Works great for trolling.

    New Wiper Arm Installation

Thanks for the reply. I have worked the wire brush and wheel on the shaft. I will try your suggestion and hopefully I line it up right.

    New Wiper Arm Installation

I purchased a new pair of wiper arms/blades from Cecil Marine and am trying to get the arm to slide on the tip of the motor post and tighten the allen nut but I can get the metal collar to slide on the post. The plastic cover that fits over the head of the wiper arm prevents me from tapping on...

    Live well Bait tank

Why not Sureflow? I'm running a Sureflow Bait Sentry 1100 for a 65gal Blue Water tank. It may be a little noisy but they work great.

Adding New GPS Map at second station

We added a 7612xsv for the back deck. Got a deal on it as the touchscreen doesn't work. I can still control it with Active Capt. Mounted on an upside down Garmin mount.

    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

Yeah, that's what I've been hitting it with and even got the Dremel tool out and bought a bag of various shapes of 80 grit sanding wheels to get the tight spots. Priming and painting next week.

    Carpet Removal

Nice! How long did it take you? What products did you use? I've just about got all of the deteriorating carpet out. Working on a few tough areas around the windows/wiper motors and on the sides of the cabin, etc. Is that a 2520? Thx

    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

Let the games begin! I started the carpet removal process this past weekend and I got most of the carpet out fairly easy. I was going to remove some hardware but I chickened out as some of the screws broke on the side portholes. I was able to cut out around the hardware and trim edges pretty...

Show Me Your Winch Stand Setups

Hey, I've got a '03 2520 DVSC on an EZ Loader aluminum I-beam trailer. The trailer came with the boat when we bought it from Florida and had it towed out to us in San Diego back in 2018. It wasn't the ideal trailer as it had 3500lb axles when we got it. We've done some modifications to the...

    Auto pilot for fishing

I have Garmin electronics on my '03 2520 with Suzuki 200's. I have a buddy that does marine electronics and we put together a Garmin system and installed for around $1000. Works great and is a game changer. My boat partner didn't think we needed one even though he'd be asleep at the wheel when...

    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

Hey Gobbi, revisiting this thread like I do every year and was leaning toward going back with the carpet but now after seeing the pics of the painted interior I'll think I'll go that route. How many gallons of each did you go through? Thanks! Lou
