    winterizing f-150

You're right, F-225 has a fitting behind prop, not F-150. Oh well, supposed to pull prop and grease shaft once a season so no wasted labor.

Looking for a rocket launcher for a 2520

You can order from your Parker dealer or http://nccustommarine.com/ These guys are great.

    Electronics recommendation

Fortunate for you, you're looking @ a Parker which, among other features has a real electronics cabinet to put your stuff in. As Mega said, go to Jim @ BOE, best price, best service. I would go with a Furuno GP-35, Furuno 600L, Airmar tilted element 'ducer, Shakesphere 5225 XT...

    Parker 2520xld VS. Steiger 26 chesapeak/ Miami

The same reason Grady White quit making I/O's...pretty much a zero market for them in Southern coastal water. We do have a lot of I/O's on freshwater lakes.

Parker hulls wood vs Steigercraft composite

IMO, foam and fiberglass forms do not constitute "stringers". Merely a cheaper way to build a boat (way less labor). Check out Parker's website under "Faqs" as to why Parker hulls with real hand cut stringers and a box grid system fiberglassed in place is the strongest hull we can buy. FWIW...

    winterizing f-150

You sure you need to fog? How long is your winter? My F-225 sits for up to 3 months and I do nothing except change oil/filter and oil in foot. You can use this opportunity to .. spray powerhead, grease fittings, spray all exposed hyd steering tilt motor down to drain remove-re-grease prop...

Just When You Thought You Had The Best...

Not really trying to start a Furuno vs Garmin battle, as IMO they don't compete. Furuno is commercial (check out yacht consoles or any working yard), not even available at most consumer outlets and much more expensive. Furuno is currently working on another CG contract fitting out their boats...

Just When You Thought You Had The Best...

...Looks like Furuno just re-wrote the book. Introduced at Ft. Lauderdale boat show. Just like Yamaha, the best never slow down. http://outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=674436 or... http://www.navnet.com

Did you raise the motor after installing the Rev 4? If not, I'm not sure you're gettin all the performance out of it.

    One More Rude Parker Dealer

Anyone who has read as many as five of my posts should understand that I'm about as sensitive as a Catapillar back-hoe in a china shop.  He needs my street address to tell me if he still has boat in stock, or how it's equipted? come on, now.

    Here's an odd one

Deltajoe, not trying to "pick", "20 mile to get in 25" of water"..? is that a typo...25 inches? "Hakr" ask your fearful friends how long it would take a 500 gallon wave to drain out of 4-1" scuppers (by the way, most Parkers have 4, many other boats have only 2) as supplied on their super safe...
