what outboard did you go with? im contemplating a repower and the suzuki 140bg is highly suggested but Its only a 115 block with more umph. I want a real displacement 150 inline 4 that has the power to cruise at lower RPM

Look at mercury. They have amazing power to weight ratios, big displacements. I’d go max hp for the transom, you will never say I wish I had less power

Exactly, also they aren’t as well built. They just drop a liner down into the hull and the boat is completed. A 3 pc hull is a hull deck and cap, and the liner makes interior space much less and the access is horrible, and there is no toe kick. Not my kind of boat. I prefer 3 pc boats all day
