From the research and reading on multiple web-sites I have visited, they all say it will not void the warranty. Talk to your dealer and ask them. IMO, I do not see how it would void the warranty, since you will not be changing any of the mechanical aspects of your engine.
Gman,
I thought the exact same thing when I purchased my Permatrim! They look like tooling holes from a holding fixture when it was being fabricated. I don't believe that they add any aerodynamic properties to the Permatrim. However, it did help in lowering the bow on my 2120.
CP Family,
I was going to disassemble my Lewmar Pro Series 700 Windlass for maintenance. I have the wrench that came with it, but on one side of the windlass it has a "torques head" looking input. Do I need a special wrench to remove the gypsy?
Alberto,
My new 2021 2120 came with the MS-RA210. Very good stereo, IMO. Not sure on the speaker model, but there are two small in the cabin and two outside. It sounds very good.
I used some Bar Keepers Friend and it worked GREAT! All of the rust came loose and just had to rinse the residue. After that I used metal polish and now it looks like new.
I have a pulpit and the cover has more room to go further forward. I believe that the 22-24 should be fine. Budge should be a be able to recommend the correct size. Here is mine for reference.
Look at some of the Budge boat covers. Very generic cover, but it works. I purchased one for my 2120 and I'm satisfied with it. The only thing I don't like about it, is that there is not an opening for the VHF antenna.
CP Family,
Looking for a good cleaner for my prop. Starting to get a little rust on the inside and on one of the blades. I polished it a few months ago and some of the rust came of with some elbow grease, but it's difficult to get the inside. Any recommendations?
In order to lower the bow on my 2120, I added a Permatrim and then reached out to Ken at Propgods. He recommended a four blade prop and with both of these, the bow is significantly lower and planes a lower speeds.
