    How to fix this?

The same thing happened to mine (not a Parker). They wanted $12 plus shipping for the new tiny plastic clip. I made one out of aluminum, took out the rear mount and just moved the potty up and inch.

Found a Good Deal on a Boat Cover for a 2120!

These are less than a grand around here. A single is 600. The snow load rated ones are a little more - we don't have enough snow here to worry about.

What's that roundish looking thing above the chartplotter?

Around here, you can get one of these for less than the price of canvas.

    Dog Ramp Ideas

We were swimming with the dogs at Lake Hartwell and Merlin decided to swim 1/4 mile to the beach to go potty. He swam back when finished and thankfully can get back aboard on his own. We were recently aboard for 7 days up at 1000 Islands in NY. Merlin learned to go potty aboard as none of us...

    troubleshooting a potential charging issue

Don't be fooled by the tiny load testers used at some auto parts stores (and Walmart). I was told at three of these places that my battery was good but when tested with a high amp load tester it failed miserably.

    2120 vs 2320 fuel economy?

It's hard for me to imagine fuel economy being a deciding factor between those two boats?

How do I set up an anchor bridle?

You'd make two of these (one for port the other stbd) and the eye ends would attach to the two bow cleats as pictured. They'd need to be long enough that you could shackle them together from the bow sprit. The thimble ends would be shackled together and attached to the rode. Make a dedicated...

removing the splash guard on 2120 Sport Cabin

I'm a fan of 5200. And while it's tenacious, it's not strictly permanent. It's not that difficult to back out a fastener that was sealed with 5200. I've removed an outboard motor that was sealed with 5200 - yes, it took a bit of gelcoat with it, but that's the kind of seal I want. If you want to...

How do I set up an anchor bridle?

I love splicing 3 strand - here's what I'd do: I'd cut off 2 12 foot pieces of 5/8" 3 strand and splice an eye in one end and a thimble in the other. I run the eye thru the bow cleat(s) and then over the cleat. I'd use a stout shackle (with safety wire) to mate the two 5/8 thimbles to a thimble...

    Plexiglass Windshield replacement

You might be surprised at how easily a sheet of every-day Plexiglas will conform to those bends.

    Anchor winch recommendations

We always overnight on the hook...have spent over 1,000 nights at anchor in over 100 different places across the US. We gave up chain many years ago. It's heavy and comes up dirty, not to mention complications with the windlass. Weigh the chain you'd use and get an anchor that's that much heavier.

    Plexiglass Windshield replacement

This isn't rocket science. Home Depot sells Plexiglass, or if you want thicker stuff check eBay.

    Anchor winch recommendations

This was the least intrusive approach on a 2120...by just substituting the anchor locker hatch. And allows for easy access to the line locker should the need arise.

    Boat & Tool Question

My boat is kept on a trailer in the back yard with shore power. This is my favorite tool: http://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-DB3DL2-3- ... B004Y74AU6 I absolutely hate battery tools, but this one comes with two batteries. Grab the tool and a fresh battery from the charger and you're always good to...
