Drift stability of 21/23 ft DV Parkers??

My DV 23 CC drifts very, very nicely. The stability on drift is great too. I'll watch other boats get rocked by a wake while in a drift and just be amazed how stable my Parker is. I think it is due the chines and mid ship to stern hull design. You are correct in trades off.'s. Some days I wish...

Having trouble keeping fish in my boat at gaff please help!

Great video. I have a pizza tonight and will just have to dream of the stakes you must have. For that size there may not be enough meat in the tail to hang onto. I wonder if any had just rip'd it out ? Try this. Bring the fish the gaff the best you can, not the gaff to the fish. Thats what...

    Parker Storage Ideas?

I still haven't found a good spot for a knife/plier holder out on deck. I bought one years ago in Parker off white and never mounted it so far. Adding wide spread double hooks was something that worked out very well. The rain gear hangs well and life jackets too. I also glassed in a board on...

Tool to reach fishing line wrapped on prop

my own experience that also includes many a chum pot rope wrapped up …. I keep a Victroniox 3" serrated blade knife just to be used for this sole purpose and nothing else ( read very sharp) One roll of Gorilla tape 1" heavy duty black type 6 foot deck brush handle when a fishing guest...

    Transom fish box size reduction?

A foam block in the middle to still have access to each side with floaty noodles to wedge in the block could do it. I have also seen 2"or 3" foam insulation sheets cut to shape and make nice dividers in boxes on large boats.

23 center consol what year first with head in console

I think it was 2008 for the head in the console/large console option (no coincidence with a fishing wife on my purchase year). It is now available on 21 as well. The deep V and bracket work just fine in all sea conditions, in fact it is very safe in a following sea. 2 foot and up following sea...

How Have the Sea Deck Combing Pads Held Up ?

As my knees get a little more time on them, i am still thinking of cock pit combing pads. How has sea Deck held up to fishing conditions ? Would you use the standard vinyl or Sea Deck pads now that you have had them on a while now ?

Big boat lee outriggers on 2320

Try to keep them with out shortening them, being "out there" is what they are for. However they might fit, make sure you use over kill on backing plates for all mounts. They take a lot of abuse and cause stress points. The extra time put into proper backing will avoid potential problems down...

92 LB Striper, of course, on a Parker

"This 92 pound striper did not become the new IGFA record because it was caught in a net by the Maryland DNR during a research project in 1995." I came across this article for undocumented records for Stripers and that deck and second looks so familiar, wonder what make of boat that is ? :D

1988 2520, sport cabin, 2 drain holes to bilge in stern????

You can alway send an email to parker with the year and HIN number with your question on those drains to see if factory installed. Seems a little odd, would put water in bilge rather than out the scuppers. Maybe a mod, with the 2 brackets she might have been stern heavy and an owner installed...
