Here’s a pretty simple (inexpensive) project to move air out of the bilge. Put it on a timer and easily run it an hour a two a day as needed. Fan is pulling air out, not pushing air in.

Or flush cut pliers.

I mounted mine on the port side of the bilge, forward of the water separator. I would also use a 10 amp / bank and return the 5 amp / bank unit.

I use an electric scotty pot puller mounted on my downrigger bracket. Works great.

I'm not sure if your bilge pump had an automatic feature that had worked sometime prior to replacing the batteries? Hard to tell without looking at your wiring, but I suspect the tan wire (with inline fuse holder) coming off the positive of the battery picture you posted is the constant hot to...

You definitely could. I rarely remove the the larger face panel and I cut both pieces to fit pretty tight. To retrieve most things I simply lift up the cushion and pull out the smaller piece of starboard. Super simple (even I can't mess it up) which is nice.

Made a couple modifications to the 2320 for a little extra storage. Used some starboard to make a removable divider to keep things contained under cushions. 3/4 starboard for the guides and 1/2 for the face and top. I removed the plumbing lines for the porta-potty as I never used it...

I'm a fan of the e series dual circuit plus switch from Blue Seas and using the AUX charging cable to charge the house battery. I normally use an ACR to make sure both batteries (house and start) are charged, but with the AUX cable it's unnecessary.

Completed the install and it works perfectly. Appreciate Antidote's write up, everything was spot on. You can see the three posts on the front of the motor in this picture. The factory hot wire is on the "high speed" stud. The one right next to it is the "slow speed", and the stud slightly...

Seems counterintuitive that the top would separate if the motor drug aground. I would think the bottom of the transom would separate first, at least initially, pinching the top tighter. Odd for sure.
