    Downrigger release clips - which one?

    I use a downrigger also and have had success with the Cannon Offshore clip. You can also loop a rubber band around your fishing line (after you let out enough line from the rod) and attach to the outrigger clip/roller so this way the line can't slip. The impact from a fish striking will break...
