Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm taking delivery of on '05, 2120 next week. The boat is 15 years old but used little and stored indoors in a dry stack its entire life. The boat looks almost new and everything seems to work very well I have one concern or question however; my last boat was a Sea Pro 21' bay boat with a Yamaha 115. When trailering that boat, I could raise the motor to maybe a 45 degree angle and lock it there for towing, thus keeping the prop well away from the road. The parker I'm purchasing doesn't have near that much tilt. And, looking at the mechanism, it doesn't look to have been designed to have more than maybe 20 degrees in trim travel. Am I missing something? (The boat was on a bunk when I looked at it so it was impossible to determine its proximity to the ground as if it was sitting on a trailer. (It will be on a 6000 lb dual-axle aluminum Load Rite trailer when I pick it up) Should the trim travel on the Parker be less because the motor is hanging off a taller transom, (keeping the prop further from the road.) Is there different trim travel for different types of boats? Or, is the trim on this motor bad? The dealer I'm purchasing from is very reputable and I'll sea trial it before I sign anything, but I need to get educated on this so I know what's "normal" and what's not. Appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks
