1989 Souwester Windshield Rubber Bushings

Greetings, my 1989 1801 Souwester is showing it's age. The rubber bushings that are used at the windscreen fasteners have melted much like the wicked witch in the "Wizard of Oz". Has anyone ever replaced them?

I guess acetone will remove the residue which is a mess.
