Hello, I came across a 1992 25ft Center Console with 2 150 Yamaha's with about 1000 hours on them. The entire rig is original from when it went in service. The floor has some soft spots between the console and the helm seat. Its been sitting for about 3 years, the owner has always maintained it but just let it sit for the past 3 years or so. Aside from many wasps hovering around us, its dirty but has potential. I cannot find any matching models online, which is odd as i wanted to look up some specs on the boat. The HID - PXMLB204B292 - I could not find much on looking this up either. Looking to see if anyone had pictures or information on this year and which model this is. Anyone running outboards that old, I was told they were oldies but bulletproof. I did also notice the gunwale seemed to flex when we stepped on the boat from the ladder. That seems to be the case all the way around, the owner said this was normal, anyone else think a little flex is normal?

Any information or advice, greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't believe any flex is normal...so I call BS and buyer beware.

The flex in the floor I'm sure is saturated due to screws leaking.

That tank will need to be pumped and gotten rid of properly. $$$

'92 model 2 strokes....Value? What ever you can get for them as scrap metal. After all....They are 28yrs old.

Thanks for the information. I am going to look it over again with a trusted marine mechanic to see what he thinks. The seller is asking 5k for the boat and 2010 Venture aluminum trailer. I could probably get it for 4k. The hull seems to be in good shape, and once cleaned up see how the inside looks. I was hoping to end up with a boat that I am fix over time and not invest a fortune in to start. The gunwale flex worried me a bit, that is what I want to look at the most, and the condition of the floor. I have redone a floor before in a center console, so that was not that concerning as a needed repair. What tank are you referring to? The fuel tank? Oil Tank? If I outboards are good for now, I could accomplish this for 10k total and end up with a solid rig. If the gunwale is soft, I am not getting involved.

The Oil tanks are Plastic....The metal that secures them rots away.....But I'm talking about the FUEL tank.

I redid a 92 2520. Replaced floor in cockpit. Not too bad. Replaced tank (126gal) while I was at it. IF CC has modified V, don't even think about offshore...will beat you silly. I use mine on a river and in bays sometimes. Love it for that. Gunwales are flimsy on older Parkers. You can glass some extra supports inside hull to stiffen. Stringers were all glassed on mine and in perfect condition.

Btw, I've got an 04 225 yam 4 stroke with about 600hrs. I'll let it go for $7k with guages/controls. That's what I took off the piolot house.
