When I bought my boat used it didn't have a splash well. It had an oak wooden door that hinged forward to accommodate the engine tilting forward when pulling it out of the water. This was always a pain in the a-- because I had a huge flat piece of wood sitting on the deck every time I boarded or exited the boat. It also allowed backwash onto the boat, which is a pain when stripper fishing in cold 54 degree water. I can't seem to find a splash well that I've seen on newer Parkers. Is this a factory direct item or can I get this from a third party vendor.
