I need to replace the tubing from the two stroke oil tank to the engine. I was wondering if I can purchase something from an auto parts supplier or does this tubing need to be a marine grade product?

You just have to watch the quality of the hose, any stuff will work as long as it is the same diameter inside and out.

On my previous boat, I replaced the oil line after the engine blew up on the first trip after purchase, Luckily I had a 30 day guarantee and the dealer rebuilt the engine free of charge. The problem was the oil line was kinked, reducing oil flow to the engine. I searched auto parts stores and ended up buying OEM OMC stuff at the time because it was much thicker walled and resistant to kinking. Beware of what you are buying, all tubing is not created equal. Just my.02

West marine also has a selection of oil/gas line. Look at the price vs. quality. In my opinion I would buy the best stuff you can for the oil line, it is that important. :!: :!: :!:
