I'm about to drop some cash on a used 1801 cc. The yamaha 115 4 stroke motor has about 800 hours and she's outfitted pretty nicely. Si-Tex colormax GPS, Furuno FF / depth. Icon.Boat radio bennett trim tabs, scotty electric down riggers, 2 battery system. Stored indoors and looks very clean.

My question is , in california what's a fair to good price for this boat, assuming good condition, motor etc.

Also, can anyone comment about what the compression should be on this motor?

I just purchased a 2007 with less than 250 hours on the motor which included a trailer, brand new Raymarine A70D fishfinder/plotter, Garmin plotter & all USCG required safety gear for $17,500 here in NY. I have heard Parkers are rare in CA, probably because of the great cost of shipping them across country so right there the boats are more valuable, but then again 800 hours on a 2005 is a little high. I also heard of a 2005 1801 selling for around $15,000 here without downriggers.... Maybe you can make your own determinations with some of this info.

As far as compression, I had it tested when I made the purchase... but forget what it should be. For some reason 130psi sticks in my head, but I could be wrong. What I can tell you is that all of your readings should be within 10% of each other. My advice would be to have a local marine mechanic go over the boat before you pull the trigger, for $100 you will have piece of mind. Good luck with the boat, I love mine... runs great, very stable.
