I am awaiting sea trial and engine survey on a 2009 2510. Does anyone have one of these with a 350hp yam? I could not find any online and was wondering if this was a standard option? I also need to figure out how to get more rod holders on the hard top. Hoping this site will help me out! CAN'T WAIT...

That thing should absolutely FLY with a 350 on the back!
Congratulations!

Curious, manifolds replaced?

There was moisture in one of the manifolds. When I had the survey done the mechanic worked with Yamaha and got both of them replaced even though it was out of warranty.

WOT is is up to 49 on flat water. Get's out of the hole in a hurry. More fuel than my old boat with a 200hp, but you have to pay to play.

More pics will be coming soon. Just added Radar, new Simrad Head Unit with Structure Scan, Side Scan and Chirp, AM/FM stereos ( 4 speakers), lots of LED, battery charger, cigarette lighter....

Weather in MD today has me FIRED UP!

I took receipt of this great boat at the end of 2014 buying it used from a broker with 78 hours on the 350. During the survey the mechanic found some moisture in the manifolds so Yamaha replaced both even though the warranty was expired. The boat has run like a top throughout 2015 and I am so happy with it (now has 225 hours). Fast forward to March 14th 2016.... Had my mechanic over to service the engine to get ready for the season. He sucked the oil out of the motor (not using the drain plug) and informed me that there were several OUNCES of water in the oil. He put in new oil and started the motor only to find some lovely milky white oil. I took the boat last Friday to a "5 star" mechanic so they could start the troubleshooting process. I am sure that whatever you guys write back about this is going to give me more sleepless nights, but thought I would ask anyways... What is the issue? Head gasket? Cracked block? I feel like I may vomit thinking about the fate of this motor....

Do some searches. I know there were issues with them awhile ago, but not sure about 2014 and higher

Probably because few of the people here have that motor.
I've seen 350's on the 34, but most of what you will find here are 300 and less.

Cracked port side head is the culprit. I think the guy before me must have left the motor up during freezing temps. Its being repaired now, and I hope to have it back shortly.
