I was hoping to go with the 2520, but the 2320 SL with a single Yamaha 250 seems to fit my budget better!

Does anyone have real life performance numbers on this set up?

Comments on the ability of this boat to run up to 50 miles offshore (Delaware and Maryland) for marlin, tuna and dolphin would also be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to joining the Parker family of boat owners!

Here is what Yamaha says: http://www.yamaha-motor.com/assets/..._pkr_2320slsportcabin_f250xca_3-31-10_oxp.pdf

I have an 07 2320 with a F225 and cruise at about 25-28mph around 4000rpm. When going offshore I leave from Ocean City and will go to Sausages, Ham Bone, Masey's, etc but I don't plan on running to the canyons. 30-40 miles is about as far as I go. I'm adding a kick this year too just in case I can't get in touch with tow boat.

Hey Poacher, I bought the 23 with a 250 last summer. I have been very pleased so far. The numbers on the Yamaha page are pretty accurate, with half a tank of fuel I cruise around 30 and get pretty close to 3 mpg with a little adjusting of the trim and tabs. We stay pretty much in the lower bay (Ches) but I see no reason why you couldnt venture out with a favorable weather forecast.

Have got the 2010 model of the 2320 with F250. I get what Rogerf said, get about 3mpg at 30mph. Have been 40 miles offshore in the Gulf bottom fishing as well as trolling in the Keys 30-40 off and no problems; very secure platform to fish. Handles great on a nice day and feels secure if it picks up a little. Just slow down & make it home. You should love it. Best boat I've ever had!! :D
