I have done a search and read all the posts regarding installing the windlass I could find on this forum. The windlass is a Lewmar 700 Pro. Where is the correct placement for this? I see some have it mounted to the pulpit and some remade the anchor door to install it there. There is more clearance below the anchor hatch than the pulpit so I guess this would be the better option? Does anyone have any insite on this boat, windlass combo? Pictures maybe? The wiring is all ran, I just want to be sure I place it correctly before hawging out a 3" hold in a brand new tub. Thanks any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
