21SE Performance with different engines

After several months of rebuilding my 21SE I finally ran it this past weekend. Boat performed great with 2 stroke 200 Yamaha SWII. I got 48 mph at 5400rpm and the hole shot was great; however, being the owner of an Etec on another boat I could not help but notice how loud it was. Any of you that are running 4 strokes how does your boat perform?

** It will pull up in a PDF format but will give you a good rough idea on what you would use gas consumption wise and where your best placement will be. Hope this information helps!

Can't answer your question other than to say I thought the F150 was not particularly quiet on a 21SE I sea trialed last year.

200HPDI is more than adequate on my 23SE. Am jealous of my neighbors 225 Etec though. Darned quiet motor. Will be first motor I look into when it's time to repower.
