23 SE vs 23 Big Bay

Is the basic difference the amount of freeboard?I can see the deck configuration is different.They show to draft the same.I fish shallow water (knee deep) quite a bit.

SE is 14 degree deadrise and the bay is 12. Freeboard is different and max hp seems to be more on the bay. Console is bigger on the SE. If you have zero desire to ever go offshore or only on the flattest days then the bay would probably be a nice inshore boat. But the SE seems to be able to float in the same water and gives you the versatility of being able to go offshore in slighly larger conditions.
